How do you keep RV / Motor Home windows from sweating or fogging up so bad from too much inside moisture?

We were recently asked this question, and saw it to be a valuable piece of information to offer.

When you are in an RV, it is a tin can of sorts, and activities inside can effect the air quality quite dramatically, and starts to shows up in moisture in the air.

Sweating windows is coming from moisture or high humidity inside. Inside RV moisture can come from anything in the RV ran by propane gas, including the RV heater, gas stove, gas oven, doing dishes, taking showers, even breathing and the human body produces moisture. Three or four people that are active within an RV can build up moisture pretty quick, especially if they are sweaty. Continue reading

Winter RV Camping, Preparing for the snow and cold once again this year!

Once again we make full preparation for winter camping before the snow hits.  We are Full Time RV’ers, and Have done a winter here already.  I like working up at the ski resort as a liftie, so some Full Time RV Winter Camping skills are needed.

First, we insulate the water and sewer line both with an electric heat element tape, a temperature controlled electric tape strip that keeps the water and sewer line above 40 degrees.

Winter RV Camping, I love this winter time of year, as a Full Time RVer

Winter RV Camping, I love RV Camping in the winter time of year. We are so ready to be RV Camping in the snow again this year!

As a Full Time RVer, we do not head home for winter, rather work in winter locations for Ski Resorts as our choice, spending our winter RV living time.  This is also our supplemental job for our RV Travel expenses, as we pay with seasonal jobs as we go. Continue reading
